Please join us for another in our series of sommelier-curated wine dinners on Wednesday March 11, 2015 when we will feature the exceptional wines of Soliste Cellars.
What happens when a renowned French chef makes wine in California? After Claude’s friend Don Plumley challenged him,
“You are always complaining about California wine, so here is a chance to do what you want,” the two established Soliste.
Inspired by French heros such as Didier Dagueneau and Henri Jayer, as well as “pre-Parker” California bottlings like those
of Joseph Swan, Mt. Eden and Hanzell Vineyards, Claude Koeberle is committed to discovering and expressing specific terroirs
through wine. The result is wines of precision and balance that are not typically Californian, except in the quality of the fruit.
Claude is a fascinating speaker (listen to his interview on GrapeRadio.com), and the event promises to be remarkable.
