Dear Friends of L’Auberge Chez François and Jacques’ Brasserie,
For over 72 years, we have been blessed to be the maker and keeper of your celebratory and culinary memories here in Great Falls (and Washington D.C.), continuing the legacy my Papa and Mama began with a simple dream: “a restaurant with nice ambiance and good, honest food”.
This week, we shared the exciting news that we are embarking on a new chapter with Warren Thompson of Thompson Restaurants. L’Auberge Chez François, my home away from home, has been a dream come true, a special place where our guests create exceptional memories filled with warmth.
We have joined forces with a very talented team, led by our Great Falls neighbor and friend, Warren, who also believes in the magic of L’Auberge and shares my commitment to it continuing for many more years in the future.
To our long-time and to our new patrons: I am not going anywhere. I remain here in the kitchen, at the table, exactly where I have always been. You’re not getting rid of me and you are “stuck” with me for a good while longer!
From the familiar friendly, award-winning long-time team, to the unique special events and Alsatian culinary charm, you can expect the L’Auberge Chez François and Jacques’ Brasserie you’ve always known. We are so exceptionally grateful for your trust and your patronage over the years, and for years to come.
Merci beaucoup, and I look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Best Wishes and À Bientôt,

Chef Jacques Haeringer and Team
