    October 23, 2022
    4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

La Grande Tente Terrace – Very Limited Exclusive Seating

Celebrate fall, nature’s Grande finale, with our third lively Alsatian Oktoberfest on Sunday, October 23rd, at 4:00pm. The evening will be filled with sumptuous continuous libations, delectable food, live music, and merriment hosted by Chef Jacques’ Haeringer and team.

Our Alsatian Octoberfest experience will be offered on our covered garden terrace under our 40ft x 55ft tent, complete with generous distancing, six high speed fans, and café bistro lighting. Enjoy pastoral views of our six acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, and blooming flowers. Our “Grande Tente” will be the perfect place for a lively and uplifting Oktoberfest celebration!

Your celebration will begin with a very special Corbeille de Pain (bread course). In addition to our house-made garlic bread, Alsatian Bibeleskais, assorted breads and local butter, our neighbors at Nordic Knot in Reston will provide handmade pretzels and mustard made with hand-milled grains and all natural and organic ingredients.

Continue the evening’s festive experience featuring Chef’s Jacques’ traditional six-course menu, featuring delectable classics from our French-Alsatian heritage. Enjoy fabulous libations, including Alsatian and Austrian wines and a grande selection of beers including our very own Papa’s Pilsner and the Virginia debut of the delicious Oktoberfest Lager by Les Trois Mousquetaires.

Winter Dog Cellars owner and Great Falls neighbor Brian Hennighausen will be on hand to discuss our beer lineup, the traditions and history behind Octoberfest, and to assist Chef Jacques in the all-important tapping of the ceremonial keg! Winter Dog Cellars is a boutique importer of premium beers from Europe, Canada, and Latin America and distributes to 17 states and the District of Columbia.

What would Oktoberfest be without festive German and Alsatian music, you ask? We are very much honored to present to you, in traditional Oktoberfest style, the award-winning accordionist Frank Busso for our lively fall experience.

As a competitive accordionist, Busso has received numerous regional titles from the Accordion Teachers Association of New Jersey, including the organization’s virtuoso championship in 1995. He also earned multiple national titles from the American Accordionists’ Association in classical, popular, and ethnic competitions. Since 2001, Busso has performed in concert as a member of The Busso Trio at numerous summer festivals hosted by the American Accordionists’ Association and the Accordionists & Teachers Guild.

Octoberfest Experience evening will also fun raffles, culinary prizes, and awards for the “best dressed” guests who come in their finest lederhosen and dirndls! Guests will share spacious long communal tables in Oktoberfest style. This will be a fantastic Oktoberfest celebration not to be missed.

O’zapft is, und prost!

Note: Very limited seating. Early sign-up encouraged.
