Rooster Room, Limited Seating

Please join Chef Jacques for a very special and always lively Friday Night Alsatian Cooking Demo and Wine Dinner. Chef will share his passion tonight for classic French cuisine by teaching expert cooking techniques and the “tricks of the trade,” sharing his recipes for the home chef.

Dine on a menu of French classics, featuring Papa’s favorite dishes from his homeland Alsace. Begin with Chef Jacques’ Flammekueche, a savory specialty from Alsace. Continue with Papa’s favorite and always popular Le Saumon Soufflé with the Alsatian star specialty. Next up, La Matelote de Poissons; a medley of fish and shellfish in an Alsatian Riesling lobster sauce. And, the grand finale of Jacques’ Grand-Mère Cécile’s Pouding au Pain (Bread Pudding). Bravo!

Enjoy the delectable and classic wines of Lucien Albrecht, one of Papa Haeringer’s long time beloved Alsatian Vineyards. We are thrilled to welcome, all the way from France, special guest Etienne Godard, Export Director.

Lucien Albrecht is amoung the pioneers of viticulture in Alsace with a history that dates to 1698, when Blathazar Albrecht settled in Orschwihr, a small Alsatian Village near Papa Village in an ideal location for vineyards. Since then, eight generations have carried on a tradition of innovative and sustainable winemaking, inspired by the rich and varied terroir of Orschwihr. Fresh, elegant, and aromatic, each Lucien Albrecht wine is a tribute to the winery’s deep roots in our beloved Alsace.

The six-course menu degustation is paired with five Lucien Albrecht wines, where minerality and freshness aren’t just concepts, they are the story of the wines. Guests will share spacious long communal tables for this evening’s very special event.

Viva Alsace (Papa’s homeland)!
