3/12 – A Very Special Four-Course Wine Luncheon Experience – “The Great French Wine Duel: Burgundy vs. Bordeaux!”

  • A Very Special Four-Course Wine Luncheon Experience - "The Great French Wine Duel: Burgundy vs. Bordeaux!"
    March 12, 2026
    11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Do you love Burgundy? Do you love Bordeaux? Love them both? If so, please join us Thursday, March 12th at 11:30am for the The Great French Wine Duel: a blind tasting lunch with fine wines from Bourgogne et Bordeaux! Two courses will each feature two wines, one from each region, accompanied by a dish specially designed by Chef Jacques to complement them both, for a total of five big Burgundy and Bordeaux Wines!

Our head sommelier, Alex Bardsley, will lead the proceedings as we taste each wine blind and assess them: which one do you like better, and why? Which one pairs better with the food? Discuss them with your friends and table-mates, and at the end of each course Alex will reveal the two wines and say a few words about where they come from and why they taste the way they do. A more engaging wine-tasting experience is hard to imagine!

Did you know that they make sparkling wine in Bordeaux? Well, you’ll be greeted with a glass of frothy Crémant de Bordeaux accompanied by Chef Jacques’ seasonal canapés. Then we will sit down to enjoy a cozy lunch, tasting two pairs of wines from Burgundy and Bordeaux – white and red – along with Chef Jacques’ culinary creations. We look forward to seeing you there!
