In 1954 when Papa and Mama opened their famous restaurant, Chez François in downtown DC at 818 Connecticut Avenue, a block from the White House, Dwight Eisenhower was President; a postage stamp was 3 cents and gas averaged 29 cents.

To commemorate that auspicious and amazing beginning 70 years ago, please join us Sunday, April 21st at 11:00 am as we toast and celebrate our très special 70th Anniversary Musical Brunch Experience with many of Chez François and L’Auberge Chez François Classics menu items and featuring the beautiful French-inspired sounds of Kati Jazz Trio.

We are thrilled to welcome back Kati and trio after her spring, fall and winter sold-out performances here at L’Auberge. Kati is an internationally-recognized vocalist who has performed on stages in Europe and the United States. She is classically trained and holds a master’s degree in Voice & Conducting, and has spent the last few years performing at venues around the Washington D.C. area. Her melodic and soulful voice makes it unique to sing French jazz gems and American standards.

We are so pleased to be able to serve you for over 70 years and we look forward to seeing you at our Anniversary Musical Brunch with communal-style seating for a relaxing and uplifting musical celebratory afternoon with Chef’s delectable four-course brunch menu and brunch cocktails, including a wine pour from our homeland of Alsace.
