In 1976 Gerald Ford was President, a postage stamp was 13 cents, gas averaged 50 cents a gallon, and restaurateur François Haeringer (“Papa”) reopened his famous restaurant among the rolling green hills of Northern Virginia. This date also marks 69 years Papa and Mama decided to make Washington and Great Falls the location for their dream of owning a French Restaurant with a “nice atmosphere and good food.”

To commemorate that auspicious beginning 47 years ago, please join us Sunday, April 23rd, at 11:00 am as we toast and celebrate our 47th Anniversary Musical Brunch Experience featuring the beautiful French-inspired sounds of Kati Jazz Trio.

We are thrilled to welcome back Kati and trio after her two fall and winter sold-out performances here at L’Auberge. Kati is an internationally-recognized vocalist who has performed on stages in Europe and the United States. She is classically trained and holds a master’s degree in Voice & Conducting, and has spent the last few years performing at venues around the Washington D.C. area. Her melodic and soulful voice makes it unique to sing French jazz songs, Spanish, Italian gems and American standards.

Our Anniversary Musical Brunch will be offered on our covered garden terrace 40ft x 55ft under our “Grande Tente.” Complete with six cooling fans, café bistro lighting and pastoral views of our six acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, blooming flowers, our “Grande Tent” will be the perfect place for a relaxing and uplifting musical celebratory afternoon with Chef’s delectable four-course brunch menu and brunch cocktails.
