Please join Chef Jacques’ and his team on Sunday April 28th 4pm as we wind down our 70th Anniversary month-long celebration with a Grand “Passport to France” Wine Tasting paired with L’Auberge Chez François’ Seasonal Canapes and Desserts, held in our beautiful Grande Tente. Today, along with our prestigious guest, Roy Cloud, owner and founder of French Wine Importer, Vintage ’59, we offer you a delightful “journey” with oenophile’s dream trip around France.

Joining us on this celebratory and fun day, we welcome back the very talented John Peter Giunta a multi-instrumentalist on guitars, flutes, accordion, assorted folk instruments and hand percussion instruments. Listen to performances and strolling music of French favorites and more on Papa’s beloved Accordion as well as guitar and flute.

Jon had conservatory training at Juilliard and the Mannes College of Music in New York City, and holds a Master’s degree on the Classical Guitar from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Notable Venues John has performed include Town Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City, Kennedy Center and the National Press Club in the District of Columbia and today in honor of Papa, L’Auberge Chez Francois!

We will make stops to Alsace (why yes, but of course), the Loire Valley, Burgundy, the Rhône and Southern France, and of course Bordeaux. No passport necessary!

Five Vintage ‘59 reps will be on-hand to guide you through a delectable tasting of TEN fine wines from the France’s notable wine growing regions.

Throughout the entire stand-up tasting, we will be offering three courses of our Chef Jacques delectable canapes, including Chef Pascal’s delectable desserts.

Why not stroll, with your wine, of course, to our two on-site budding vegetable and herb gardens?

Each guest will be given a memorabilia passport that will be stamped when you visit each of the five French wine regions today.

This wine passport hereby bestows the bearer all oenophilia rights and privileges for a trip to France celebrating the 70th anniversary of L’Auberge Chez François.  Your stamped passport includes a thank you gift from L’Auberge for your journey with us, today and over the past 70 years.

We are honored to take you on this “Voyage du Vin” around France so please fasten your seat belt, place your tray table in its upright position, grab your glass, and enjoy!

Merci beaucoup for celebrating 70 years with us!  Today promises to be a grand celebration with music, wine and cuisine and Chef’s Grand Toast to Papa and Mama for their incredible vision.

See you here!
