The series comes to L’Auberge Chez Francois on Thursday, August 11th at 6:00pm just in perfect time for an outdoor celebration, as we have just been named one of  Open Table’s Top 100 Restaurants in America for Outdoor Dining!

Join us for an evening of fabulous Virginia wine and delectable “fruit of the summer” cuisine offered on our covered garden terrace 40ft x 55ft Grande Tente, complete with cooling fans, café bistro lighting, and pastoral views of our six acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, and blooming flowers.

The evening begins with Chef’s seasonal hors d’oeuvres (think tomatoes) and a crisp glass of Barboursville Brut Rosé Cuvée 1814. Next, we will sit down to a guided tasting of three exceptional Barboursville wines led by Barboursville Estate Director Luca Paschina. Tomatoes from our Chef’s garden and from Village Garden RVA (named “the most delicious tomatoes in the country,” by Food & Wine Magazine) will be served on a menu paired with fine wines from Barboursville Vineyards, one of Virginia’s most honored wineries. Come break bread with Village Garden founder David Hunsaker and Barboursville Estate Director Luca Paschina, and mais oui but of course, our own Chef Jacques and team.
