A summer evening filled with fine French wine, extraordinary food, and beautiful singing; what could be better?

We are thrilled to continue our decades-long partnership with L’Auberge Chez François begun by our own Catherine Filene Shouse, Wolf Trap’s visionary founder and gourmand, who was a frequent and beloved guest at L’Auberge Chez François and dined with Papa Francois Haeringer on Sunday afternoons for many years.

You’ll enjoy Chef Jacques’ award-winning cuisine in a gorgeous natural setting, while you are serenaded by three incredible artists from Wolf Trap Opera—Christian Pursell (bass-baritone), Ann Toomey (soprano), and David Weigel (bass-baritone).

These Wolf Trap Opera’s Filene Artists have performed on some of the country’s premiere operatic stages, including those at The Metropolitan Opera, Washington National Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Los Angeles Opera, San Francisco Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago. These talented artists will perform excerpts from beloved Operas, Musical Theater, Jazz and French Chanson.

Enjoy Chef Jacques’ fabulous six-course French inspired cuisine and four sommelier-selected French wines offered on Chez Francois’ covered garden terrace under their 40ft x 50ft Grande Tente, complete with cooling fans, café bistro lighting, and pastoral views of their six acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, and blooming flowers.
