More and more Californian winemakers are producing excellent wines that expresses the uniqueness of where they were grown, conveying their personality of “Le Terroir” (of the earth). Please join Chef Jacques and team as we host Robert MacFarlane of Potomac Selections, our highly-regarded colleague of more than 20 years.
Robert will present these delectable wines by five top producers from California. Robert will articulate how they personalize their wines and produce them to showcase the unique terroir, through careful farming and restrained wine-making. The results are wines of individuality– complex, aromatic and flavorful, without being over-extracted or out of balance.
Our California Terroir Six-Course Wine Dinner Experience will be offered on our covered garden terrace 40ft x 55ft Grande Tente. Complete with plenty of room for generous distancing, six cooling fans, café bistro lighting, and pastoral views of our six acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, and blooming flowers.
Chef Jacques and have crafted a menu to highlight the authenticity of the wines, for an unforgettable gustatory experience, under our Grande Tente on a magical late September evening. Please join us, Thursday, September 30th! See you there! Please reserve early, limited, generous seating.
