Barboursville Vineyards Wine Dinner

  • January 25, 2018
    6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Please join us Thursday, January 25th as we welcome Jason Tesauro, Chief Sommelier at Barboursville Vineyards, for the next in our series of Virginia’s Best wine dinners. Established by the Zonin family of Italy in 1976, Barboursville has been one of pioneers of truly fine wine in Virginia, garnering numerous accolades and awards, and winning the Governor’s Cup several times. Under winemaker Luca Paschina, Barboursville has steadily honed in on the best grape-growing and winemaking practices for Virginia’s soils and climate, producing a wide range of excellent wines, from single varieties of Italian origin like fiano, vermentino and nebbiolo, to their impressive Bordeaux-style red blend, Octagon. We will be tasting five of these wines, accompanied by an exceptional tasting menu, courtesy of Chef Jacques Haeringer.
