Please join us on Thursday, October 7th, as Chef Jacques welcomes Alexandra Calla from importer Dreyfus Ashby to host a “Burgundy Meets Oregon” dinner with the wines of Maison Joseph Drouhin of Burgundy and Domaine Drouhin Oregon.

Joseph Drouhin always had a passion for wine, and in 1880 in Burgundy, he founded the independent company that still bears his name. Today, his great grandchildren, Philippe, Véronique, Laurent and Frédéric, run the family-owned company from their ancestors’ house. Each has their own personality, but together, they share a common passion for the vine and the wine. Day after day, they strive for harmony, the hallmark of Joseph Drouhin wines.

Founded in Beaune in 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin’s cellars have spread from the historical Cellars of the Dukes of Burgundy and the Kings of France in Beaune (12th-18th centuries) to the Moulin de Vaudon, an 18th Century watermill in Chablis. A rigorous attention to detail, self-imposed discipline, a desire to learn, an ardent sense of values, and a daring passion are the qualities that have been handed down through the generations, together with the art of winemaking and a never-ending search for quality.

Our very special “Burgundy Meets Oregon ” Six-Course Wine Dinner Experience is offered on our covered garden terrace 40ft x 55ft tent, complete with plenty of room for generous distancing, six fans, and cafe bistro lighting. Enjoy pastoral views of our six acres, two on-site gardens, koi pond, and blooming flowers. A stroll with your wine, but of course, to our two on-site Fall vegetable and herb gardens is always encouraged!

Hors d’oeuvres will be accompanied by a glass of Joseph Drouhin Saint-Veran. This will be followed by a pre-dinner flight of three of Drouhin’s delectable and highly rated Burgundies. With our six-course dinner experience, we will pour two additional wines of Domaine Drouhin’s Oregon wines, the Roserock Chardonnay and the Domaine Pinot Noir.
