Virginia’s Best from Paradise Springs

  • September 28, 2017
    6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Please join us on Thursday, September 28th as we present the next in our series of Virginia’s Best wine dinners featuring Paradise Springs Winery. Founded in 2007, the family-owned winery has already won a slew of medals, and recently established a west coast branch in Santa Barbara County in California.

The Virginia winery lies on 36 acres nestled in the quiet corner of Clifton, on the edge of Fairfax County. The property borders Hemlock Regional Park with the Bull Run River flowing only steps away through the woods. Originally, the property was part of a one-thousand acre land grant from Lord Fairfax in 1716 to the family’s direct ancestors and has been passed down through the generations since. Several hundred acres still remain in the family today. The winery is the closest to Washington, DC in Virginia, and the first in Fairfax County.

Founder Kirk Wiles and head winemaker Rob Cox will be joining us to present the wines, including their Sta. Rita Hills pinot noir, and Chef Jacques has created a tasting menu to complement them.
