Cooking Demonstrations & Wine Dinners

Chef Jacques Cooking DemoJoin Chef Jacques Haeringer at the award-winning L’Auberge Chez François for one of our lively and entertaining cooking demonstrations combined with a delightful meal.  At each event, Jacques will share his passion for classic and contemporary French cuisine by teaching expert cooking techniques and tricks of the trade, and sharing these recipes for the home chef, while guests sip specially chosen wine.

After the demo, our guests will then enjoy their “just demonstrated” five-course luncheon in our garden room, paired with wines selected by our sommelier.  Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase these wines at a special “trade” price. Bon Appetit, merci beaucoup et à bientôt.

As always, we will be able to accommodate dietary concerns, given advanced notice.  Please email me at chezlauberge@aol.com with any special requests.

Prices include the demonstration, luncheon/dinner with fine wines, written recipes for the home chef, and all taxes and gratuities.

Vintage '59 Imports Wine Dinner with Roy Cloud

Date: May 4, 2016

Vintage 59 Imports Wine Dinner with Roy Cloud
Wednesday, May 4 at 6:30pm

In a piece on Roy Cloud and Vintage '59 Importers, Michael Franz asked, "Who are the heroes who stem the tide of stultifying wine?  ... the most important person involved in getting you a great glass of something distinctive and compelling is the importer of artisan wines." Roy brings in fine selections from domaines in every corner of France.

“We are excited to have him join us to present five of his very best at our May 4th wine dinner”, says Chef Jacques.  Wines will include a charming white Burgundy; a vibrant chenin blanc from the Loire Valley; a rich, dry Alsatian riesling; a fragrant pinot noir from Volnay; and a powerful malbec from Cahors, paired with Chef Jacques’ seasonal menu degustation for tonight’s event.
