Washington State Wine Dinner

Price: $125.00

Date: August 7, 2014

Thursday August 7, 2014, 6:30 P.M.

Please join us Thursday August 7, for another evening in our series of sommelier-curated wine dinners. Sommelier Alex Bardsley AIWS will be discussing wines from Washington State, specifically the Columbia and Yakima Valleys.  Columbia Valley, Washington's largest appellation, and Yakima Valley, Washington's oldest appellation, established in 1983, are distinctive wine-growing regions with clearly defined geographical, climatic and soil features.
Their volcanic, well-drained, sandy loam soils are low in nutrients, which stresses the vines and
contributes to concentrated fruit flavors in the grapes.
