Cooking Demonstrations & Wine Dinners

Chef Jacques Cooking DemoJoin Chef Jacques Haeringer at the award winning L’Auberge Chez François for an entertaining cooking demonstration and delightful meal. Jacques will share his passion for classic and contemporary French cuisine and teach expert cooking techniques and tricks of the trade followed by fine food and wine.

Each event, hosted at L’Auberge Chez François, includes a cooking demonstration hosted by Chef Jacques, followed by a five-course luncheon, paired with three fine wines, recipes for the home chef, paired with three fine wines. A Vintner will be on hand to present and discuss each wine paring, and patrons will have an opportunity to purchase the paired wines at a very special price.

We are delighted to welcome our wonderful friends at Alta Vista Winery in Lujan de Cuyo in beautiful Mendoza who hosted Chef Jacques this spring with a "red carpet" tour and tasting of their excellent wines.  The d’Aulan family produces wine in several wine growing regions around the world, from France- the country of origin - to Hungary and Argentina, where they created Alta Vista in 1998, in the search of the greatest qualities of two emblematic varieties- Malbec and Torrontes.  The result is the perfect combination of French savoir faire and Argentinian passion

In celebration of our 60th Anniversary, we are hosting a special Garden to Table Dinner series. The fourth dinner in this series will be on Monday, September 15th, at 6:30 PM.  It will feature music throughout the evening by the Nancy Scimone Trio, as well as a special dessert by former White House pastry chef, Roland Mesnier.  This monthly event, during our garden harvest season, will take place on our beautiful outdoor terrace, weather permitting, and feature a five-course menu created by Chef Jacques using produce from our garden and paired with exceptional wines.
