Cooking Demonstrations & Wine Dinners

Chef Jacques Cooking DemoJoin Chef Jacques Haeringer at the award-winning L’Auberge Chez François for one of our lively and entertaining cooking demonstrations combined with a delightful meal.  At each event, Jacques will share his passion for classic and contemporary French cuisine by teaching expert cooking techniques and tricks of the trade, and sharing these recipes for the home chef, while guests sip specially chosen wine. 

After the demo, our guests will then enjoy their “just demonstrated” five-course luncheon in our garden room, paired with wines selected by our sommelier.  Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase these wines at a special “trade” price. Bon Appetit, merci beaucoup et à bientôt.

Join us for a Spring Fling Cooking demonstration where Chef Jacques will show you how to use fresh, spring ingredients to prepare a delicious meal that celebrates the season. You’ll sip on Crémant de Bourgogne while you learn the secrets to making classic quenelles de brochet, the perfect asparagus salad, and other dishes that showcase the bounty of the spring season in Virginia. The demonstration is followed by a five-course luncheon with wine pairings, to make for the perfect springtime afternoon.
